Belize passport and Visa photos now need to adhere to more strict , internationally agreed standards for facial recognition technology to work as it should. The new Belize passport and visa photos passport photographic requirements need to be in place to assist with the smooth transition from Machine Readable Passports to Biometric Passports.

Below is an outline of Belize Passport Photo Requirements. For more information visit the Belize Passport web site

• Two same copies of a recent photos taken within 3 months
• These photographs must be taken front face
• No covering of the head, hairline, or ears.
• The size of the photographs must not be more than 21/2 by 11/ 2 inches
• The photos must be no less than 2 by 11/2 inches
• They must be printed on normal thin photographic paper
• They must be unglazed on the reverse side.

Belize Visa Applications :: More Information

All visitors must travel to Belize on a valid passport. The passport must be valid for no less than six months after the intended period of stay in Belize. Citizens of the following countries do not a Belize Visa for stays up to 30 days

• European Union Member States and their dependent territories.
• The Caribbean Community Member States (CARICOM) with the exception of Haiti.
• United States of America and dependent territories.
• Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Iceland, Mexico, Norway, South Africa, Tunisia & Uruguay
• Commonwealth Realms & Monarchies, and their dependent territories
• Commonwealth Republics (see note below)

Members of the following Commonwealth Republics need A Belize Visa

Bangladesh, Nauru, Cameroon, Pakistan, Chad, Sri Lanka, India, Mozambique,and other West African Countries. Nationals of all other countries REQUIRE a visa to enter Belize
